LA VOZ
Welcome to the issues of La Voz, El Instituto's newsletter.
El Instituto brings together the histories and missions of the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS, established in 1974) and the Institute of Puerto Rican and Latino Studies (IPRLS, established in 1994). Faculty and graduate students affiliated with El Instituto engage in research and teaching that examine hemispheric Latina/o diasporas, U.S. Latina/o communities, Latin American and Caribbean societies, and U.S.-Latin American relations. Their work addresses critical themes including coloniality, race, migration, education, media, economics, health, cultural studies, and human rights.
